The new-generation F-series excavators of LiuGong were launched recently in BICES2019. As the sixth-generation excavators integrating technology, intelligence and environmental protection, they were extremely important for LiuGong to meet the future market needs, according to the manufacturer.

The new F-series excavators are mainly designed for North America, western Europe and China, while taking into account the emerging markets. Various product portfolios are provided to meet the needs of different markets.

Compared with the previous generations of excavators, the F-series excavators have more models and size classes, including standard ones for the Chinese market and short-tail and zero-tail swing ones for the western European and North American markets. The products comply with the latest regulations of China and Europe on emission. What is more, excavators of different size classes (large-, medium- and small-sized) are launched for market segments. The series has 15 product sub-platforms with more than 40 size classes ranging from 1.5 to 90 tons, which covers more than 90 percent of the global market demand. Mini excavators of less than 6 tons are divided into more size classes.

In addition to basic models, the F-series excavators also have variants. Appropriate accessories are used to serve different purposes, including excavation, demolition, forestry, material handling and recycling, and providing customers with the best value.

The F series excavators are equipped with the latest electronically controlled hydraulic system consisting of a main pump with large displacement, a low-speed and high-torque engine and a main electro-hydraulic proportional control valve for better management of flow distribution. An intelligent cooling system also is equipped, which controls the fan speed in real time according to the temperature of water, oil and intercooler. With these systems, the F-series excavators are industry-leading in terms of their high operating efficiency and low oil consumption (about 15 to 20 percent lower than that of the previous generation of products), according to the manufacturer.

In addition to the features of energy conservation and high efficiency many other LiuGong excavators have, the F-series excavators have been greatly improved in terms of the product intelligence.

The product intelligence of the F-series excavators combines the integrated operation of a single excavator, intelligent control, network-based integration of excavators, intelligent monitoring, detection, prediction and remote control. The technology enables the monitoring of bucket trajectory, construction guidance, assisted excavation, automatic weighing, etc., significantly improving the working efficiency and quality and avoiding repeated operation. The excavators also adopt new electronic fence technology that ensures safer construction, and expandable control platform that provides the basis for access to the intelligent control and management system of excavators.

9018F is a 1.8-ton conventional hydraulic excavator developed on the LiuGong F-series platform and adopting swing arm deflection and variable track technologies. It is able to pass through a passage as narrow as 3.2 ft. (1 m) wide and equipped with an adjustable and locked hydraulic system with the maximum pump displacement. Various accessories may be used for operation in farmlands, towns, greenhouses and indoor spaces.

906F is a 6-ton hydraulic excavator developed on LiuGong F-series platform, boasting a new and simple appearance, low oil consumption and high operating efficiency, excellent controllability, comfortable operating environment with good visibility and low vibration, and fully-open rear engine cover for easy maintenance. It can be used for various purposes such as farmland water conservancy, housing, public facilities, and urban transformation.

922F is a new-generation 22-ton hydraulic excavator independently developed by LiuGong. It adopts a fully electronically controlled hydraulic system and intelligent heat dissipation technology. The excavator boasts high operating efficiency, low oil consumption and low noise. Serving multiple purposes including excavation, leveling, crushing and lifting, it can be used in different projects such as roads, construction, water conservancy and mining.

926F is a new-generation 25-ton hydraulic excavator independently developed by LiuGong. It adopts a fully electronically controlled hydraulic system and intelligent heat dissipation technology. The excavator boasts high operating efficiency, low oil consumption and low noise. Serving multiple purposes including excavation, leveling, crushing and lifting, it can be used in different projects such as roads, demolition, water conservancy and mining.

936F is a new-generation intelligent hydraulic excavator carefully built by LiuGong. Based on the customer and market needs, LiuGong applies intelligent technology in designing the excavator for mining. The product boasts high efficiency, high reliability, low oil consumption, first-class controllability, low maintenance cost, high-standard safety and comfort. It may be equipped with a variety of accessories, and complies with the China IV emission standard.

990F is a new-generation intelligent hydraulic excavator carefully built by LiuGong. It adopts a fully electronically controlled advanced hydraulic system, heavy-duty structure and optimized crushing design. Boasting excellent operating efficiency, low oil consumption and high reliability, the product can be used for excavation loading and crushing in open-pit mines, phosphate mines, metal mines, quarry mines, etc.
